Im firing up my 75 gallon and would like shell dwellers, calvus, leleupi and utintas,I have a 50lb bag of fine argonite in my closet from a failed saltwater attempt. will this be ok? will the shell dwellers make the water cloudy from digging up the argonite it can get quite milky?

Also have a coralife 56 watt t-5 light with 10,000k 50/50 antic ..would this be a good light for them also?

thanks anyway.I figure its ok? read that people use regular sand, crushed coral and even dolmite, but could find nothing with argonite which my pet stores are loaded with for cheap. also the lighting is for saltwater..so wasnt sure if it was ok either.

You have been on here long enough to know to give people sometime to answer your questions.

agronite is fine, I have used it before great buffer. The lights will also be fine, it really depends on how the fish look.

Thanks mike! yea your right ,need to learn to be more patient..well in any case its in the the tank now and added rocks ,water and soon fish will post pics next week.

If the sand is the courser grit stuff, not the fine "sugar sand". You just need to rinse very thoroughly first. Aragonite is the best stuff around
