Has anyone been able to keep the two together at small ages and grow out? Lets say a 4-5 in armatus and a 3-4 inch tiger (Hydrocynus Goliath).
Is this possible as I have heard that armatus will eat the silver fish?
And for that matter, if it is possible would any arrowans survive with the tiger fish?
Thanks

If you had a 1000 gallon you might be able to get it to work. I don't believe anyone has gotten this combo to work in anything smaller. Don't know about the arros.... but I don't think anyone has that combo going either......

Is it because the tiger killing/eatiing the armatus or the aramtus killing/eating the tiger? An since you said this has not been accomplished I can only imagine the arro does not stand a chance.

If you use the search feature you can do your own research and come to your own conclusion.:D

I believe the Armatus punks the GATF. I believe this was reported back from Neo overseas as well as R1 Ridah who tried the combo himself in I believe a 600 gallon. Take this with a grain of salt......it isn't fact, but what I remember.

I've seen members photos on here of Tigerfish with chunks bitten out of their backs do to Armatus throwing their weight around.

Actually my Green Aro killed my GATF after only 5 seconds in the tank. Aro was only a little bit bigger.
