Armatus and Vittatus together ?

I'm looking to get a young vittatus and Armatus and grow them both out in a 4ft then 6ft until I go bigger.

Question is how the two get on in the same aquarium. Are there ever issues typical to either species or is it just a case of hoping they are fine but if theyre not they wil do damage to the other?

I have a couple of Payara Scombs in another tank but they are really shy I believe Armatus is completely different in behaviour

I had not tried armatus and vatf but I did try tatauia and vatf, both around 5” and the tat was attacking the vatf constantly, to the point that I had to separate. Also, armatus grow way faster than vatf, I had armatus before that grew from 3” to around 8” in two months.
Might not be a good combo based on my experience.

Armatus will outgrow the atf and end up killing it. ATF just can't compete growth wise and will get bullied.

Cheers guys thats useful. I've ordered a Tatt and will shelve the Armatus idea
