so iwas at my lfs and saw they had baby armatus there about 1 inch. they wanted 35$is that an ok deal. and how long can they live in a 125. thanks every one

At that price, I highly doubt they're Armatus. They could be Scomb, and they could live in a 125 gal for 2-3 years, if you can keep them that long, may be for live!
Was it labeled as an Armatus?It probably was not at that price,more likely a scomb.Check the Other Characins section for more info on armatus and their relatives.
oooo ok well it did look like a baby Armatusbut they were small i might go later and check them out and talk with a buddy who works there
