HELP dont want to lose him

You will have better chances of getting help if you post in the disease section. When you do, link up the page on this thread, double your chances of help. Good luck

Keep your water clean, add salt... Hope he doesn't lose that eye. He will still able to eat with one or both eyes

x2 - if you could quarintine him while it heals even better.

Not sure how this would qualify as a disease - Payara and meds don't mix well.

Sadly I don't think that the eye will recover..Sometimes a fish can lose it's eye and go blind just from a bout with cloudy eye so I can imagine the damage that a puncture can do to the lense and who knows what else. You shouldn't lose the fish though, keep your water clean and make sure it does not get infected. There are plenty of one eyed fish swimming around in the hobby.

dude, ur not gonna lose a fish just because it has a bloody eye! Just add salt. I'v seem one eyed fish with no problem eating and living.

I still don't think it will get better but your fish will live on barring infection. The eye will either remain as it is or die completely and fall out.

one of my stingrays eyes filled up w blood b4. it all healed up and u cant tell anything ever happened

this is why i seperated my 2 armatus. i was sick of seeing gashes in their eyes
