Armatus broken tooth

Any one have experience with armatus breaking their teeth?

Just fed mine some mussels and not sure how he managed it but he broke a front fang?

I didn't see him hit the glass or anything like that so unsure how it happened - will he be ok? Will the tooth grow back?

hmmm hard luck, i know cichlids teeth grow back, catfish whiskers do and sharks teeth are constantly being replaced... lets hope so pal, good luck.

They will grow back, and usually grow back quickly. I wouldn't worry about it at all.

He will eventually drop the broken tooth and it will be replaced with a new fresh tooth soon.

Payaras shed teeth regularly. A broken fang is of absolutely no concern.

ya...mine broke 1 of his fangs too. but replaced in a couple of days better than ever.
