I just went into my fish room to look at my tank and realized that one of my armatus is having trouble closing his mouth almost like one of his teeth are hitting its jaw line. Anybody have this prob or seen this before?

Yeah he's probably losing, or already lost a tooth and the new tooth is growing in ... it can be difficult for them to fully close their mouth during this time, since their teeth slide into holes in their snout, until the new tooth gets fully into position it will not line up with the hole and thus the fish cant close his mouth

Thank you. I was starting to get little worried.

Ya he's shedding his tooth. They do it once a month or so. Once it falls off, a new pair will go into place. No need to worry.

Yup, his is perfectly normal. It means your fish is healthy and growing.
