Armatus not eating... Any tips?

Well just got my first 4" Armatus on Tuesday and I have been trying to get him to eat. I've tried small comets, guppies, and ghost shrimps. No luck.

His home:
75 gallon tank with a Tigrinus cat.
Temps at 84 degrees
PH is at 7
NH3 at 0
Filtered by Eheim Pro 2080 on full power

Any tips?

no need to up the temp.

try feeders only.

do a few waterchanges

I agree with Vamp,thats been my experience with payara,give him some time and he'll come around.I've never tried the garlic.

give him a bit,and try a big feeder.

Your temp is high enough already. Leave it alone. Do a 50 % water changes. My shoal eat a lot more after water changes than if i hadn't change the water in a week.
