Armatus or Scomb.. ? Wish for Armatus

Hey hey!

Just got myself 3 vampires a couple of weeks ago.. i’ve read a lot about it, even read the identification guide 2.0

But i’m wondering if mine are Armatus or Scomb.. actually.. the tail gets me all wrong.. doesn’t look like the tails we see on Armati.

If anyone would like to chime in. Would be greatly appreciated.. would love Armati.

Scombs have smaller tail fins that are shaped a little different, one could think your fish could be tats if anything but I'm almost certain that they are armatus.

That will come in time.The fish are very young as is evidenced by the spots on the facial/gill area.

Just started them on small Gold fish 2 weeks ago. As they are too big for rubies or guppies.

I know it is not the best protein wise.. but these guys are real porc.
