Hey Guys,

Pick up a couple out of the batch john Raymond brought in. ( clouded archer decided to eat one so this guy is in a breeder box for the moment)

I know a lot of the baby arms that are being offered are coming out of this batch (i didnt buy from him but thats where it came from) so I figured I would post some pics and see if we can get a definitive ID so others can be comfortable.

Thanks

A lot has been said about the seller so I will say this...I have dealt with him a few times and have even been to his facility and picked up fish.If he sold the fish in question as armatus then I doubt they are anything else.

Thanks Krich, I've heard all the stories both good and bad, but my real issue is the difficulty of differentiating them at this size. So i was hoping for a difinitive answer.

x2 John has always been great to me and never given me false information on any of my numerous orders. I would not be concerned at all.

Just enjoy him, grow em out, and keep him stuffed with guppies at this point. Wont take long to pack on size with their growth rate.

Adipose is the dead give away in my opinion. Rounded heart shaped tail and size of cadual (sp) fin also reinforce.....

Armatus.

Thanks DB, Thats what i am hoping.

IF you've had them this small before it's easy to tell...... ;)

After it doubles in size in a month you'll know for sure! :)

cant wait... I am actually thinking about scooping another one up before they are gone.

I have a decent size Tat (only other payara i've ever kept) who i cant get off live, but this guy even a qtr of the size is more confident and feeding trmendously.
