Okay so I have this 16in Armatus that has one of his fangs stuck outside of his mouth. Not sure how this happened and after futher rreview he is missing the other one. I would not dare try and move it back into place , but after two days what are my options? Anyone experience this? Also when do they stop growing the teeth back? A armatus without his front bottom teeth won't look menacing at all. could have gotten a GATF is this is going to be the case..:irked:

LOL, I wouldn't worry about it not growing back. I think they shed for life. I have never heard of one getting stuck out, but I am sure it will be replaced before you know it. It does take longer the bigger they get though. Not to worry man.

Okay so its the 3rd day and he has not been able to get that teeth back into his mouth, I am thinking about going in. In fact he is not even trying to push it anymore. Its just laying on the side of his face.
By the way Vamptey, did you breed your Leo rays yet?

Just leave it alone,it will more likely loosen and fall out before making it's way back into the fish's mouth. This kind of thing probably goes on all the time to the fish in the wild and if you interfere and try something, you could stress the fish and cause a more serious injury.

not yet but very close!!

leave the tooth, it will get replaced b4 u know it!!

Ha. I had a tat that had that happen, the tooth was sticking out leading the way. I snapped some good photo's also, but the tooth did fall out, and he replaced it with another one.

In the wild they eat some pretty big fish as was shown in one of the RiverMonsters episodes.I can imagine that they get teeth knocked loose just by catching their food.
