Will an armatus get along OK with a black Arowana?

I currently have a 10" black aro and my lfs have some 6" armatus in (would have to grow the armatus a little first). Should they get along or will the armatus go for the aro as I have heard they go for silver fish.

That mix should be fine from the day you bring the army home. Perfect mix IMO. The fish are even the perfect size to start with. Go for it!

This combo has yet to be successfully proven in my term. I also started a few threads about this and a few other members told me the aro might try to eat the armatus or the armatus might kill the aro.
The armatus likes to attack silvery fish. Aros always have a shiny tinge on them. It's risky but i'm going with you!

i think it should work fine given the size of the fish.... i'd get some pics of the Armatus though, many places id vampire tetra's poorly, and all other vampires probably will not work with an Aro since they grow more slowly and dont get as large

Ive seen the fish and Im 95% certain they are armatus - Orange adipose and black line behind gills

yup that can only be armatus. lol you can be my combo tester!

Let us know how this combo works out, definatly interested to see the results. Iv always been tempted to buy an aro, but their horrer stories always turn me away. Good luck op.
