Armatus with split tail fin...will it heal?

I did a pretty big water change yesterday,got the water down to about eight inches.All of the other fish were calm about it except my army as he kept thrashing and splashing what was left of the water in the tank.He now has two splits in his fin as a result of the thrashing.He has never had split fins before and I don't recall seeing any that did so I'm hoping that it heals fully.

Good to know.I have seen some dats with split tails and they seem like they have bee so for quite a long time...Yeah,different fish,I know but just wondering.Thanks guys.
