How big does one actually get and whats the minimun tank size. I saw a post on here a few months ago about a guy who got a 1120g tank and like 30 canister filter and you guys said growout for an Armatus. How big do they get. I dont have the room to kepp on but just interested

they grow to 2 feet plus.
im guessing 10 feet by 3 feet?

They CAN grow much larger than two feet though. At just two feet, that'd be considered a small armatus in the wild.

If you click on the "Movie" link in the page I have below, you'll see what is probably the largest armatus in captivity, at least from what I've seen. There's no way this fish isn't close to 30 inches.

In captivity, I'd say yes, three feet. I think in the wild they get ~four feet and he record caught is 40 pounds, which is immense for such a slim-bodied fish.

Don't worry mate. Just think of a good dinner once he hit 3ft mark Deep fried with tomato sauce, fish fillet stir fried with veggie, head for soup, etc... They can make 7 courses out of beef, so I'm sure you can do the same with an Armatus
