Aro 150g with tankmates?

So I have a basic size 150, about 6ft long, dont know the exact dimensions. I was wondering if I could house a black or silver aro with a couple of sa/ca cichlids for life?

Ok, just thought I would ask. Arowanas have always been that fish I dreamt of keep when I got a semi monster tank.

how much space do aro's require?

Arowana should be kept in tanks that are at least 3 times their length and have a width that is at least equal to the aro's length. Best to figure that a black or silver aro will get to be at least 30" long. You most likely could house a black or silver in a 96"x30"x24" 300g tank for life. Though there could be the possibility of the aro growing to over 3 feet so an even bigger tank would be proper in that case.
