Aro and CK

so i was at the LFS and i saw a baby clown knife. i was wondering if you can keep one with a silver aro. iv been told they wil fight but i wanted a second opinion.

Actually they are usually great tankmates. I have had 2 big knives (16" and 22") with a big silver arowana (24") and they never bothered each other at all. I have seen it work several times.

yeah i had an 20" with a 15" ck and they paid no attn. to each other at all, great combo! they were together from babies.

i have my 20" aro with my 11" rck
and they acually swim together like they are buddys

only problem is the ck is almost 4" and my aro is 2". so would the CK eat the aro at that size diffrence? how fast do CK grow?

maybe this should be moved to the ancient fish forum. idk, do what you want with it mods.

The aro will grow faster than the ck, so I would let it bulk up a little then go for it.
