Aro and eating stock

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
hi jarred..small silvers are best kept alone until they get to about 12".. really depends if they will eat them.. i have silver dollars in my pond with the aros, rtc, and tsn.. yes they did get eaten up a bit but now i dont see it.. they could be safe for what you know.. but best to keep the apart for now (and always, that is if you want the red head geos alive).. all the best..

personally I would raise them together, let the aro get use to the geo and see that fish are friends.

but in all honesty it's 50/50, I've had two different 20-24" aro, one would eat anything and everything while the other could swim alongside a tank full of goldfish.

lol! I hope mine will swim with fish. I had him off feeders at 3". Who knows maybe that will help. He is with his life tankmates already. Ive seen 24"+ aros with clown loaches, angel fish etc.
