Aro....Bichir....Pleco....What Else?

so im almost ready to set up my 125 gallon and am still at a loss for what to put in, i like the scarcley stocked look but i nedd something to look at!

What has to go in is the folowing

(1) 7" Ornate Bichir
(1) 5" L-200 Pleco
(1) Silver/Black Aro (Growout)



so what would you do for a middle dweller, i like schools but couldnt think of nething execpt for balas and dollars, both rnt very attractive.......

but i did see some "Orange Fin Barbs" and i might get like 6 of um, if ne one knows how big they get and such

so im lookin for ideas for the bottom that wont turn into food and a good schooler fish for the middle (or a cool pred that doesnt just sit there)

heres a pic of da barbs mabe someone can get me a positive id.....

those look like tinfoil barbs- very energetic, always movin, they do get over a foot though.

not a tinfoil, tinfoils look like this ....... thnx for the reply tho, what would you put in for a middle dweller? or an active bottom hugger?

Pleco and Bichir go together?

ive had mine together for 6 months or so with no problems, but gerenraly theres issues with the pleco sucking on the bichirs slime coat.....

I was going to say the same thing. Might as well get something nice-looking to occupy the middle of the tank.

How about a nice 8" gold severum for $30 . Hahaha I think that maybe Geos would be cool. Maybe a bit too big for you though.
