The night before it was raining so the water is quite murky. Further more, the pics were taken in the afternoon, aros tend to not surface since the temperature is hot. Yes nets are for shade.
 
That is pretty cool. Did they let you tour that placeor do you know the owner? You wouldn't happen to know how much money it takes to maintain that place and feed those fish would you?

Yeah this particular farm is not open to the public. I was granted access due to having a friendly relationship with certain parties. I too was dissapointed that we couldn't see the broodstock swimming in the ponds. The company that owns this facility is a public listed company. There was a roach farm in the facility that stank but it was huge. I would say it cost a bomb to feed the aros there.
 
That is freakin's awesome. I wish that I had a couple million dollars extra to start a place like that.
