ok guys. im in a situation here..let me tell you all the details..
2 - 12" black arows
1 - 8" leichardti
3- 3" tinfoil barbs
2 - 2" hi fin plecos
tank- 125 gal 6ft long wiht lots of bamboo plants and driftwood, substrate..
feeding all fishes with food sticks, cichlid pellets, fish fillets, shrimp, beef heart..2x a day, varies everyday..

so, i got the first black aro back in december, then bought the lei in feb...
the black aro was 11 inch and the lei was 5" back in feb.. i noticed that the lei is aggressive but not enough to do some damage on my black aro so i just ignored it..the lei would just give it a bump to scare it away..

after a month, i noticed the leichardti's aggression is getting out of hand, the black aro is 12" and the lei is now 8"...so i decided to add another black aro in there to lessen the aggression and to take away the attention of the lei on the black, coz i know 2 aros in 1 tank is not good..so i got a black aro the same size as my first one..before i added, i re-arranged the decors and did a water change.. so i added the new black aro..

not even 30 mins later, my leichardti is on both of them.. he is chasing everybody even the tinfoils.. to the point that the 2 black aros wouldnt come out of the bamboo plants to even eat..

so i said enough and moved the lei to another tank leaving the other 2 black aros in the 125 gal.. by midnight, the new black aro is attacking the old black aro...so i moved the new black aro into the tank where the lei is..

a couple of days later, i put the new black aro back into the 125 gal, same thing happened..it attacked my old black aro..

now, the lei and the black aro is in a 60 gal (temporarily) until i can find a way to fix this..can you anybody tell me any suggestions?
im thinking of adding a peacock bass about 4-5" in the 125 gal when i put the lei and the new black back into it.. or add a silver arow of their same size.

thanks in advance!

just keep em seperated, you should stop adding fish

well i plan to do a cohab so im finding a way to fix this problem.
ive seen guys with adult leichardti, jardini, black aro and silver aro in a tank.
i know it can be done, ive seen it.. i just stumbled upon this so im asking how to fix it.

i have 2 silvers,1black,2 jardini,1 african arow together, the african sometimes picks on 1 silver only

its a hit or miss usually
sometimes you just cant force fish to not be aggressive no matter what permutation you put them in, when they have an aggressive nature. even if it does work out, give it a few months and things may change. a 125g doesn't help either.

i suggest you stop adding fish, it'll only get worse as you don't have spare tanks to hold them all individually if things don't work out. if you really want to, you should get rid of the lei, and try comming with blacks/silvers. they're a bit more passive, but not a whole lot.

thank you!

when you say give it a few months, it can change.. can it?
im thinking right now, the lei is only establishing dominance or wanting to be the alpha of the group.. can this also be the case?

sir, you could have explained it a bit further.. i would have accepted your explanation. i was trying to figure out how to solve my problem and i need detailed answers. but thank you for reply.

i think couple months to change to a bigger tank i think thats what hes saying, sorry i dont explain great hehe

First off you are fortunate to have two blacks that co exist, a pair is very rare. You should get rid of the new black and the lei. Keep the pair together, once you have a proper size tank for three or more aros you can then try adding a new lei. When keeping a aro community you should always have the means to be able to separate the aros at a moments notice.
