I was thinking about adding an arowana or datnoid to my pbass tank...but need opinions on which one to add??? I would really like to get a black aro but might end up going with silver/jar...but silvers grow alittle to fast for my liking...and i think dats are sweet but hide alittle to much...what do you think???and any opinons on size of new mate??

i have a jar, silver aro, 2 mono pbass, and 2 dats. in one tank. its depends on ur tank size, filter and how big ur pbass are.
all depends on the size of the fish.. i have a 2ft silver aro in with my bass, all my bass are around the 10" mark, no issues what soever. Dats are cool, but try getting the dat around the same size as your bass cause i know dats are real slow growers and your bass wwill outgrow them pretty quickly..Add both thats what I have. The dat don't hide anymore after I ad the pbass. I think they get excited when they see another stripe fish. A jardini could be bad I tried that combo once and he killed one of my pbass and got into a bad brawl with my other pbass. At the end of the week I had two fish missing half their scales and a bunch of scars.
