my aro died when i got home today. tank mates oscar 2.5" 2 p bas 3-3.5" clown loach 4.5" sword tail 2.5" my water is perfect, i have a DIY filter in there the tank is well establised. i did a 10gallon water change with none of the stuff tou make it aqurium safe i didn't ahve any. my tank is a stand 75g. i have a small pump in there for mech sand subtrae. the fish have never show agreesion. i ahve a clay pot for caves and any other info ask me :) please help me tthe clown loach got to him first he had some riped fins but i don't know if the cl did that. the oscar and the aro are best buds my silver aro was 5" thanks for all your help.

I don't understand exactly what you want to know.

It may have died because your tap water probably has high chlorine and chloromines. Since you didn't add any dechlorinater, all the "bad stuff" from your tap got into the water.

You might want to do another water change and add the dechlorinator so your other fish don't pass as well.

ok thanks i got some more declornizer i did a 20% water change none of my other fish have passed yet.

If you didn't have any dechlorinator you should have never even changed the water until you got some. Thats putting the lives of the rest of your fish in danger. This is assuming of course that you're getting water from your tap. Other than that, there's really not much else we can tell you with the information given. If you still have questions please be more specific.
