 I am sad to report that y "red-tail" silver aro that I got at the auction died last night. I am completely puzzled as to how it died though. I saw him swimming as he always had just a matter of 3-4 hours prior and he was taking pelletes no prob. Then I found him stuck to the filter with his stomach eaten away. Tank mates have always seemed harmless, so im lost. Had I not paid only 6 bucks I would be really mad.

That's sad. Im sorry about ur loss.

But first off, you have to describe your regimen as well as the tank condition and specs and his tankmates. Maybe from there we can find out why he suddenly died.

My condolences.. may your aro RIP.

What size are the tankmates and what is the water condition? Fish dont usually die for no apparent reason unless it got eaten, so ud better check whats wrong with the tank and rectify the problems before futher unfortunate events occur.

A red tailed silver aro would go for atleast 90 bucks at my lfs. That jackass :swear: . Way to expensive around here.

sorry for your loss, had two die also. what temp do you keep your tank at? how big was he? what were his tank mates?

Wow soo many aro deaths lately.......RIP for your aro
