Hey everyone
i am having a 12inch silver arowana...i have been feeding him food sticks only...now i am quite keen to feed him live fish (occasional treat)..i have read the stickies..just want to know how many of you have been successful feeding live fish (not fish meat/fillets) to your aro...by successful i mean no disease, and optimum health and growth..Thanks in advance

I am sure a lot of people have had success. But as the saying goes "better safe then sorry". It doesnt matter how many people have had success, if you did it one time, and your aro got sick you would be mad at yourself for doing it.

+1 I wanted to use live feeders for my clown knife but didn't want to risk it Greg check your inbox

i have a sperate 10 gallon tank treated with ick remover that i put feeder fish in for a day or two. My Aro is big, strong, and heathy. 85% of his diet is hikari food sticks, 15% crickets, and live feeders.

Do let us how it turns out.
Tried to start with live food for my jar thinking that he might be getting fedup eating only hikari foods, but he just ignores the other fish and gobbles up hikari :-)
