Update of my Aro...
18.5" and eating more bovine than Prawns these days...
He has developed some blue on his barbels and mouth as well as his gill plate.
Check it out, tell me what ya think...

Every silver I've owned has had blue edges to the barbels. Its a nice touch don't ya think? Silver arowanas can seem dull colored when looked at from a distance, but when you get close, the color really comes out. very nice fish dude.
 
Ahh the last of the Gu Kaan bloodlines still kicking thru with those pretty genes. My Aro has lots of the same , it looks more green an blue in mine, in fact, quite a bit. Is yours increasing? (The amount of blue)

He has never really rubbed anything, so the shine is pure throughout his length...
I look at this guy for hours daily, and it seems to me his scales are really gettng huge, Maybe he is getting ready to do one of those crazy growth spurts...
They are about the same radius as a quarter...:headbang2
