Hey guys, I picked up this little runt today at my own little place. I saw these guys and they were 9$ each they were about 2" long and I'm gonna grow it out for my friend. I would appreciate to know if it is a jardini or silver. I think it is a silver. Thanks!ImageUploadedByMonsterAquariaNetwork1359937994.181357.jpgImageUploadedByMonsterAquariaNetwork1359938008.531482.jpg
-Thanks

Thanks guys, just wondering. How can you tell them apart? And what should I feed him? I had him eat maybe 2/3 bloodworms. He's really ignoring anything I put in as food, should I just leave him be right now because it is his first day?

I just got 3 baby silvers last week, I offer them blood worms, tiny. Crickets and pellets !but only a small amount of each, 2 times daily. The first day I offered them blood worms an hour of being put in there tank ! Then left them alone for the rest of the day

So like small sized crickets from petsmart or something would work? Is there any way these can get him sick? What kind of pelets do you offer them? And lastly how quick do you think it will grow?

I get pinheads from petland, I've never had any animal get sick from a cricket, but I made sure mine would eat pellets before even offering crickets, he's getting floating pellets from nutra fin the predator sticks I cut them in have since they are pretty big, I haven't noticed any growth in mine but my jardini grows a 1inch like every 3 weeks !
