Hey guys I found this aro for sale and was curious as to what kind it is. Also whats a decent price for it? Can it have tank mates? Is a 180g big enough? Thanks for the help.

looks like a jardini, i have seen them being sold as australian golden.I live up in vancouver canada and up here ther go for 50-60 $

jardini, it will most likely be too aggressive for tankmates, and a 180gallon is ok . price- $70 around here for 4" jardini's

That my boy is a Jardini Arowana. The most decent price here in Cali...well in my nearby LFS is $30 for anything 2"-6".And as for tankmates...its sometimes not good to have it with anything as it will fight with your other fishes and maybe end up killing the others...but if you want it with fishes go with something robust and something that can hold its grown.Try a Red Devil,Managuense,Dovii,Oscar,Severum...like those...but they need to be big! And you can keep it in a 180 for a long time maybe even for life.Hope this helps! =]

Definately Jardini ! i have kept a jardini before with tank mates without any problems, part of it was... i introduced it into a tank with other fishes when it was small (like 4-5") so that it would get used to having other fishes around it.
You can prolly keep a Jar in a 180 for life.... just make sure the dimensions from the front to the back is at least 24", for instance...a 6x2x2.
