would that work? its a circle so there would be no problem for the aro to turn around? any thoughts?

I don't think it's to shallow, but there's a good chance it would jump out... You gotta find a way to keep it covered.... whether it be a full cover or plexi glass wall around it with a net on top of if, something along those lines should work...

yeah i was thinking i would have to cover it, but dont need it now. my aro is only 2.5". just a thought for when its bigger and needs a new tank (that my parents wont let me get)

lol put the heaters in a vase inside the pool.... and change water a lot... put a strong net on top... sould be fine...;)

You need to filter the water and maintain biological filtration. Don't think it would work very long. Besides you could only see the top of your fish. Save your money for a aquarium.

Rottbo has done it with a big one that has an inflatable ring on top of it. It's pretty cool. I did it temporarily when I had a leaky tank.

Just get a strong pond filter(or a couple) and treat it just like a large tank... Just watch out not to put any large catfish with sharp spines into an inflatable... I'd go with the hard plastic type IMO... (but thats because i have some kitties) And as far as not being able to see your fish from the side... I'm assuming you realized this and don't mine.
