I lost a damned good jar that way.You may have to cover your openings with some type of netting,thats too expensive a fish to risk losing because if it survives it will likely do it again.

Why not use Eggcrates to seal the top up? and put glass or a weight on top of it.
with Eggcrates u can cut holes for your lines or your filters

do as i do, duct tape the lids down. no joke. leichardti's are jumpers with strength... they need big tanks, they want big tanks, and assume your box is bigger then his, and he wants to join you on that couch!

they'll still jump and hit the tank covers so u should attach some sponges to the bottom of the tank cover before duct taping it.
