I've got a 20" Silver that I've had since he was 7" (about 9 months)
All I've ever fed him is krill. About four days ago he stopped eating. He will still strike it, take it in his mouth, even chew it a little, but doesn't swallow.
The only nourishment he's getting is from whatever blackworms he manages to pick up while I'm feeding the rest of the stock.
Anyone have any ideas?
Pat

Unless there's been some sort of environmental change, I'd say he's bored with his food. Try superworms, or market shrimp or earthworms or feeder frogs.

A 20 inch aro can go weeks without feeding, so don't panic. ;)

Aros are known for fasting for long periods of time. Try a different type of food, if it doesn't take it, don't worry. There are quite a few threads on this topic do a search and you will find plenty of info

I'm not sure if he's bored or not, but he's definitely in need of some variety in his diet. It will balance his nutrient intake. Krill is nutritional, but add tilapia, nightcrawlers, silversides and shrimp.

i don't think it won't eating at all...maybe that guy getting little shy to eat in front of you :p

mine also really hard to see it eating in front of me
