i dunno if this is anything to worry about but my aro hasnt been eating properly for the past few days he normally eats everything and im always changing water n checking params. even turned his nose up at locusts which are his favourite

How old and how big is your arow? they fast sometimes.. especially i noticed if they are an older arow female... they can go for months without eating.. keep trying.. take out all uneaten food.. add a little aquarium salt.. and keep up with water changes..all should go back to normal unless theres another health issue going on..

he or she is 20+ inches and around a year old

Then definitly do not worry.. not at least for a few weeks.. this is normal.. and probably you have a female... i found out after many times fasting.. that i have a maybelline.. especially when there was finally concrete evidence...big orange eggs..lol... just watch him/her.. if any other problems should occur.. but i really believe this is what is going on... maturing..and even if it not a female...arows do this very commonly... in the wild they go through long periods of fasting.. ps nice size for a yearling..

Didn't you recently switch up his diet? No need to worry if all else is good(i.e. water parameters) they can go for extened lengths of time without eating.

only changed back to what it liked wasnt eating the other stuff either. has been about 4 days still not eating ur probly right its probly a female lol. change water all the time

That sucks man! Sorry to hear. Hope it's better now a days?

Arowanas can go awhile without eating. Keep water parameters at optimal conditions and sooner or later it will eat again. My fast lasted almost 2 months, then it just started feeding aggressively again.
