try leaving a night light on at night..so when you turn on his light it won't be a total shock....

Or you can have an actinic or "moonlight" on all the time and it will be the same as a "night light" for it. Floating plants will help too. What size is your Jar?

mine doesnt really like the light but ive been turning it on lately during the date n turning it off at night hopefully he'll get use to it

YES HE IS JUST NOT USE TO YOU AND TO HIS NEW SURROUNDINGS... TRY NIGHT LIGHT OR MOON LIGHT... HE IS STILL STRESSED FROM BEING NEW.

Yep, wont matter even if your jar is use to its surrondings and is settled in, itll get shocked if you go from dark to light. I think ill get shocked to if you go from light to dark too.

just not used to the new environment yet.. mine did the same thing.. and they are also right regarding the dark to light thing..
