Aro's and Loaches in one tank?

I know for some this is a disaster in waiting but others it work out so who's got a thing like this going pictures will be great to support it Thanks in advance.

And sooner or later, they will be gone.

Aquatic_wonders, what species are your arowana and loaches? Adult clown loaches will work but no smaller than 6 inches and I will not suggest jardinis with them either. Silvers or blacks are your best bets.

I don't have an aro and loach together.

I do! And have for a long time no trouble.

I had 3 inch loaches with my 18" silver before they kinda schooled with him. Personally i think each fishes tempermant matters.

Good point. I think that, although bigger aros are more prone to eat smaller loaches, it might work out. Are you willing to take that chance though?
