Aros with bichirs?

I want to get this silver aro at my lfs but i'm trying to figure out if it will be okay with my senegal and ornate bichir? What do you think? I have a florida gar with both of them now and the dont touch each other at all. Thanks!


P.S. - this would be my first arowana

aro's need a very large tank. other than that it will be fine. my aro gar and bichir are all together...

hi, what size is the tank? what size are your fish? and how big is the arow?
my 2ft silver arow got along just fine with my 1.5ft ornate bichir...

It's a 4-5 inch arowana at the lfs.....My senegal is 6 inches and my ornate is 5 inches. The tank is a 75 growout....I also has a 120 but is not cycled....yet lol

its fine. just keep 'em well fed and hiding spots. i kept an ornate and sen with my silver.

your gonna need a larger tank...is that a 120 long or economy size?

i think its the long 120......I figure i'll use the 120 till he growout of it and go from there.

yeah if its the 6ft long tank your in good shape...get her cycled up!!!
