Well, wife made me take down my 75gal Arowana tank. She said one tank and one tank only.I had to put the Aro with my Africans until I find him a home. The weird thing is when I tried to put any fish in the 75gal with him the Aro would straight up murder it.But now that he's in with all these Africans he's not trying to attack any of them? He's actually getting buulied by a few of my socolofi's.

I almost want to keep him in there,he seems fine so far.But then I would have to stop using the PH buffer to make the water hard and just keep the PH at whateva is when it comes out of the faucet.

Here's a video

looks like his base fin is being nipped. if you really do want to keep the jar then i recommend lowering the ph to average and keeping an eye on him. he doesn't seem to be projecting aggression because he is new to the tank but that might change in a month or so.

Yeah I have a feeling you might be right.I know he was a real dick head to my shovel nose cat fish that was like twice his size.He really couldn't do anything to him though cause catfish have tougher skin.

nice comm lol

Alll kinds of species, no matter what kind of animal, mark their territories. The tank that you have the jar in right now is the african cichlids territory, not the jar's. The jar's terriotry was the previous 75. Because the jar has been introduced late to an already established tank, it's not the dominnant fish, and will no longer be the attacker.

Take the rocks out and say goodbye to other fishes ....or give the aro a couple weeks to settle in.

Well, the Aro just started eating the other day after not eating for almost a week due to the tank change, seems he's settling in.Let's hope he doesn't start systematically murdering all my Africans now that he's comfortable....:WHOA:
