Hi
theres is an online aquatic shop sellling 5-6 cm arrowana.
I have recently lost my big arrowana and i would like to buy one to replace him.
my biggest concern is if i buy a arrowana that small is it likely to have a yolk sac attached or is it going to be feeding.

or should i pay more for a 6-7 incher..

I have the facilities to keep one and i have several tanks i could put a arrowana in to grow it big enough for the pond.

all advice greatfully recieved

i would stick wif a bigger 1... more stability in condition... well tat's juz me... as for others stick around there mebbe more posts coming up tat u could read on... cheers...

I would go with the bigger one. More stable and likely to survive. Just find out what its currently eating...

allways best to get one without the yolk sac;) so get a bigger one

rule of thumb: NEVER buy an arowana with a yolk sac cause thats probably the most vulnerable. besides u wont be able to interact because it wont be able to swim properly and all it will do is eat its sac. the SAFEST size to buy an arowana is 9 inches. u will be sure that it is strong, and has vibrant colouration. 6-7 inches is still pushing it. after the 9 inch mark arowanas are like tanks. good luck ;)

How much more money for the larger one are we talking about? If It was me personally I'd get the larger one or none at all.

i wouldnt buy one with a sac , they are near imposible to get eating
