How long would a silver be able to live in a 75 i know they need much bigger just a growout tank

Month or two if its a 4" baby. They grow about 2 inches a month and are very skittish in small tanks. You should probably wait till you can get a very large (350+) tank

+1 on waiting till you have a bigger tank. But I'd say more along the lines of 3-4 months.
