Arowana a bit sluggish .... HELP !

Hi guys

I have noticed that over the past couple of days since descovering that my fish have white spot that my Arowana has been a bit sluggish, He's not as active as he used to be.

Normaly you could see him cruiseing the waters surface but now he just sits in one place either at the surface or on the bottom of the gravel.

Today when i fed him he normaly flies at sight of prawns and muscles or the occasional peice of squid, He will normally eat 2 muscles and about 4 prawns, Today he ate just one prawn and snubbed the rest of the food.

I'm very concerned about my fishes health and also worried i may lose him soon if i don't find the problem.

So please MFKer's help me !

What is the temp in the tank? Can you take pics of the white spots? it may be ich.

The temp in the tank is 81 oC i have began to treat my tank with M salt the spots are disapearing form the aro and are slowly disapearing from the Golden severums.

My aro's behaviour is still a bit sluggish ????

Hmmmmm that is weird. try increasing the water movement by adding a power head. that will help it start swimming and maybe get it back to being more active.

I was just going to suggest that! The more movement you have in the tank, the better chance you have at him wanting to swim around...Good luck with him Dan!

I have one in already but he just keeps avoiding the current in the water and try's to stick to the calm more still part of the tank .

I'd add anotther one to make sure it gets him swimming.
