my theory on arowana, especially jardini's agression is that, you will be more likely to succeed keeping jardini in a community tank if you establish his tankmate since he was little and he him grow up with them , that way he see them as part of his territory instead of something that's invading it. also not feeding him live food (feeder) will help keeping his killer instinct in check.

i think if you put a small jardini in a tank with tankmates thats a somewhat larger than him than they would probably grow to get along. I would introduce all the fish into one tank at once to they would feel new to the environment and no dominant is build yet.

agreed because im doing that right now its been 1~2 months

That's what i did and never did have any aggression problems with mine.

Do not agree.
I grew my Jar from 4" to 9" & he beated the $#!+ out of his tankmate 1 feet Oscar.:nilly:

i put mines with other Arowanas

i agree. mines no problem what so ever at the moment

I heard that when keeping only 2 aro's, their aggression rises. 3 or more is best.... correct me if im wrong please

i agree!
thats what worked for me, keeping a jardini with others as a juvi will lessen the aggression, but once you put a matured jardini with other tank mates all of a sudden, he will go beastly against others!
