heey dudes, i want to keep an arowana (black one) with my channa marulioides, they are 16inch and the arowana i can get is about 10 to 12 inch.
my tank is 150g

would this be a problem or can they live in peace?

thanks!

thanks :D i'm shore it is marulioides they didn't even eat my p'bass at 6" but i wanted to be shore with arowana... they are not really cheap down here you know :D

the black aro is a very squittish fish ( an aspect grwn silvers loose ) so I would not advise it, Marulioides having a serious agression potential

well just like tropheus told marulioides is a really peacefullkind of channa... what are your expiriences with C. marulioides?

I stand corrected..I was thinking of Channa Marulius. My mistake.

Should not be a prob.
The problem i see is your tank. its to small for the arowana and the channa when they get bigger.

the problem with snakeheads are its teeth,a single bite can cause a severe damage, it may bite the aro's tale...well observe them well, coz i have had my 20in clown knife bit by a 24in snakead on its tale and thank god it just left a big scar

You should be good. :)
