Arowana and Cichla?

Does anybody have experience keeping (silver) arowana and cichla together? I just got a shoal of baby Ocells and I want to get an arowana for the tank as well. I know the arowana needs to be a baby as well, but at what size should I get it? Obviously, I want to ensure as best I can that noone gets eaten. I am also wondering this same question with other monster fish and would love to hear what fish you guys have successfully kept with cichla. My heart is not set on an arowana but i am considering one. Thanks!

They work well together. I would get the aro a few inches bigger. Not much, about 2-3" bigger.

My cichla are only about 2" right now so should I wait a bit till they aren't feeder size? Lol

I've never had luck with my bass with a jardini. They just turn into punching bags.
