I personally would say no. The aro could possibly eat the FH or more likely is that the FH will beat up and bully the aro to the point it dies.

Generally when it comes to mixing predatorial fish together it's best to do more then just 2-3 fish in the entire tank, if there is only 2-3fish in the tank it's too easy for one of em to get singled out for all the aggression/abuse from it's tank mate/s. Also it's generally best to keep aggressive Cichlids like FH's by themselves as they can become total psycopaths very easily.

Risking a asian arowana by betting on a flowerhorn, doesn't sound like a good idea.
