Arowana and Oscars

Hey guys, so my new 225 is up and ready. It has been cycling for about 3 months. Currently I have my 2 6-8 inch Oscars in it with a african catfish and a jack dempsey. I have been raising my silver Arowana for a few months now and he is about 7-9 inches. Is it safe for him to be put in the big tank with the Oscars now, or should I continue to wait?

can the aro fit in the oscars mouth?

You should be fine adding your aro in the mix. Just keep an eye on them and be ready to seperate if need be.

I don't recommend mixing silver aro with large SA/CA cichlids, until the arowana is 10-11" long and at least 2x the length of the cichlids.
