I have a 15" silver arowana and a datnoid I am getting a ray fairly soon... I really like the uaru cichlid is this a good tank mate? I have read that they school and have a calm temperment so I am thinking they'd be fine but wanted some advise from some keepers of these guys.... thanks.

How big is the tank.. That'll help pick out a tank mate that will fit in the tank
Nice big tank, unfortunately not wide enough for rays and silver aros. I personally haven't looked into black or jardini so they may grow smaller but silvers grow too large for that tank. Some might say retics or mini moto rays may fit but I don't think rays should be kept in under 3' as far as uaru our local zoo has had a pond with motoros and uaru and severum for many years now.
