Arowana and SA/CA Cichlids

Hi everyone I am just getting into Monsters and have always been interested in Arowana. I have kept community tanks for several years.but want to move up. My main question is would a Silver Arowana be compatible with SA/A Cichlids?

It all depends on the type of cichlid and wether or not said cichlid will fit into his mouth

I managed to get my hands on a 180 gallon. I don't have the fish yet but i would preferably get a juvenile

I keep my silver with a group of geophagus altifrons .... Works great

chocolate cichlids and sevrums do grate with silver aros

Well that's a bummer. But I am not going to put it in a tank that is too small. I will just have to convince my wife that we need a bigger tank.
