Mile High in Northern AZ, baby!~
In his world, now they know who's the boss...
He tried to be patient with the oscars, and he has always kept the plecos on their fins.
As of the last week, my gentleman Arowana has lost his cool...
I went through 500 MW's trying to get him his treats and he's not waiting for nobody, no more.
It's like he knew we were getting down to the end of them, because instead of going for the worms, he'd snap at the Oscars if they'd beat him to the grab.
He was gonna get the last of them no matter what...
He gets most of his beefheart and pellets, the oscars don't care for that much.

He's got to be getting close to 19", won't let me get near to him with the yellow tape measure, another change in temperament, here we go...
This is twice as aggressive, than when he got to the 12" mark...:screwy:

did he break his back? Looks strange.
Not that he complained about or anything...Only injury he ever got was a single scale plucked off on some driftwood this month infact.
I just power feed him and keep his water mint... ;)
Here he is last July 20,06 at 7.5"

not agressive, he's jus gettin bigger and requiring more food during feeding. when the mans hungry the mans hungy. be excited with it. mine get so crazy during feeding its like a shamu show. diving n dashing to make sure he gets his food. if someone else beats him to it, he chases n tries to get them to spit it out cuz he wants it. nice aro bro

Count yourself lucky. You should see what my aro does to his tankmates when they take food. They're lucky if they live.:irked:
