My black arowanas back tail is growing funky and the barble on the tail are all bendy. Do u guys think its a good idea to cut it and let it regrow?

There's no barbel on the tail! Did you mean the lines on the tail? Most likely, your tank water is not so clean, thus, causing such condition. Even you cut the tail, but doesn't improve the water condition/tank environment, the tail still grows back funky, and sometimes, worse than before you cut it.

No the tail hass line but its all crooked. I'm also not going to be thinking about cutting it anymore.
