i recently bought two 24" aros. Recently I noticed thr air bubbles were sticking to them. What would cause this? Also they are both jumping an awful lot. Any suggestions?

They were in a 75 gallon together when I bought them. Now they are in a 180 gallon 6x2x2. Two Fluval 404 canister filters.

i would say, at the least; 180 is suitable for 1 silver and other fishes half its size.

I used to keep to 24" plus silvers in a 180g. You'll have to walk on eggshells around that tank, problem is if you spook one then they both will freak out. That 6x2x2 is barely big enough for one to be freaking out in.

they just started jumping but the air bubbles are concerning me. I dont understand why they are sticking to them. i just changed half the water and they seemed tocalmed down some.

The bubble are just stinking to the slim coat.

Naw, Just add Aqua salt to help the slim coat along.
