Arowana ???? Black vr Silver

Is there a difference between the silver and black aro after the black grows out of its juvie stage????
Every thing I look at shows them looking about the same as sub adults but the price is three times more???

Yes looks are very similar once they get bigger. Big difference is with silvers, thay have a 99%+ chance of developing drop eye. With blacks, there is about zero chance of DE.

blacks are less likely to get DE, but still do. blacks also max out smaller than silvers, making them sometimes better choices for aquariums. definitely more scarce in the hobby, hence the pricetag.

They are very similar as adults, just like tinfoil and platinum are very similar too...
