PLEASE HELP.
My aro 13” developed this “bone” deterioration in the area of it’s pectoral fin pictured below. It’s happening on both left hand and right hand… and also showing sings in it’s other two smaller fin between the pectoral fin and tail fins.
It’s more obvious at the pectoral fin area.
I’ve noticed this a little over a month ago but didn’t care to investigate cause I really thought it was some genetic imperfection on the bone growth… But now looking back at previous photos, it wasn't there before and had slowly deteriorating the bone away but at a very slow rate in the last month or more.
Please if you know or have any experience with this let me know…
I first want to go with treatment if this is some virus that’s eating the fin bone off slowly… the soft tisues around the area seems okay and not really rotting away. Other than for not eating regularly, the aro seems perfectly fine from it’s normal swimming.
Please help identify this type of sickness, and point me in direction to get proper treatment. i.e. medication.
I will look into water parameters and hopefully keep water as clean as possible for proper healing.
